Texas Area Agency on Aging
Clear Path Home Care is currently contracted with the Area Agency on Aging for the West Texas Council of Governments in Abilene, the North Texas Council of Governments in Wichita Falls, and the North Central Texas Council of Governments in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Our Agency supports and provides crucial in-home care for individuals who qualify for assistance from the Texas Area Agency on Aging.
The mission of the Texas Area Agency on Aging (AAA) is to assist older individuals (60+) and those with disabilities in accessing a comprehensive, coordinated, and cost-effective system designed to allow older adults to lead independent, healthy, and dignified lives in their home of choice as long as possible. The AAA role is to ensure that collaborative efforts are maintained and encouraged through a group of network providers and community-based organizations, both public and private, assuring a regional commitment to access and assistance of services designed to meet the unique needs of West Central Texans.
Services are targeted to those with greatest economic and social need. Particular attention is paid to people with low-incomes, older people who belong to minority groups and older people residing in rural areas. In addition, family members and other caregivers may receive information and services on behalf of the older person for whom they are providing care.
